Team 1405 is a high school robotics team comprised of students from the Charles Finney School and local homeschoolers. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition where we design, fabricate, and compete with a new robot every year.
FIRST
FIRST, which means "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology," is a non-profit organization for high school students. The intent of FIRST is "to create a world where science and technology are celebrated... where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes..." — Dean Kamen, Founder of FIRST
STUDENTS
High school students from the Charles Finney School and local homeschoolers participate on FRC team 1405 and each year create a competitive robot with the support of industry and FIRST mentors.
MENTORS
Industry professionals and FIRST alumni inspire students and pass their knowledge on to the team to foster a team that grows in competitiveness.
