1405 Finney Falcons Falcon Scout Team 1405 believes engineering is a tool for service. Our flagship outreach, Bella's Bumbas, puts that belief into action, assembling wheelchairs for children with disabilities around the world.
Bella's Bumbas is a faith-driven nonprofit whose mission is global mobility, providing free custom wheelchairs to children with disabilities wherever they live.
Team 1405 volunteers at Bella's Bumbas, helping build and pack chairs that travel to children in over 70 countries. It is hands-on work that connects directly to our engineering skills, and reminds us why we build.
Our primary outreach. We volunteer with Bella's Bumbas to assemble custom wheelchairs for young children with disabilities, giving kids across the world the freedom to move.
The robotics team regularly hosts workshops for our elementary and middle school students, teaching them the fundamentals of robotics and engineering.
Team 1405 participates in yearly demonstration at the Rochester Museum and Science Center, showcasing our robots to inspire children and their creativity.
